Pablo Jimenez '26

President

Pablo ‘26 is senior at the University of San Diego Knauss School of Business. He is double majoring in business administration and real estate. Pablo is from Guadalajara, Mexico. He discovered his passion for real estate at an early age through his family’s involvement in the industry. What began as curiosity, quickly evolved into his deep interest in development, strategic investing and building long-term value in both residential and commercial spaces. For Pablo, real estate is about the relationships he builds, the communities he shapes and the stories behind every property. As president of RES, Pablo is excited to lead with purpose, help students grow their network and create a space where everyone feels seen, supported and inspired. He is actively involved with NAIOP’s and BMC’s mentorship programs. During Summer 2025, Pablo interned with Capstone Advisors. Outside of the classroom, Pablo co-founded the USD Paddle Tennis Club and he enjoys riding his motorcycle, surfing, soccer and exploring new cultures.

Lucca Deocariza '26

Vice President

Lucca is a senior at the University of San Diego Knauss School of Business, majoring in real estate and finance, with a minor in accounting. He is excited to serve as vice president of USD's Real Estate Society. Lucca has twice been a member of USD's NAIOP University Challenge team, where he contributed to the vision, financial modeling and development pitch of the teams. He is a first-generation American and is a student-athlete on USD’s men’s rugby team. Lucca has held internships with RBC Capital Markets, KPMG and Tondini Law. He is passionate about real estate investment, capital markets and destination-focused development.

Miles Sedlin '26

Vice President of Events

Miles is a senior at the University of San Diego Knauss School of Business, majoring in real estate. Born and raised in Santa Barbara, CA, Miles brings a strong foundation in construction to his academic and professional pursuits. His hands-on experience in framing, drywall and flooring has deepened his understanding of the development process from the ground up. Over Summer 2025, Miles worked with KB Home as a rotational intern, gaining valuable insight into large-scale residential development. This experience complemented his long-term goal of becoming a real estate developer with a focus on building high-quality projects that make a positive impact on the community. Outside the classroom, Miles enjoys playing volleyball, spending time at the beach and going on trips with friends. He values creating lasting memories through shared experiences and is always up for an adventure.

Zakai Stone '26 

Vice President of Finance

Zakai is a senior at the University of San Diego Knauss School of Business majoring in real estate and finance. Born and raised in San Diego, he has been immersed in the real estate industry his entire life. Zakai brings a student’s perspective with real-world experience to the RES committee and looks forward to contributing to the club’s growth in the 2025-2026 year. Deeply connected to his hometown, Zakai appreciates San Diego not just as the place he’s from, but as a city with depth and opportunity. He believes that great mentors, an extensive professional network and perseverance are essential to achieving career goals. Upon graduation, Zakai plans to relocate to New York City to continue his career in real estate.

Jelanie Brookins '26

Co-Vice President of Marketing

Jelanie is a senior at the University of San Diego’s Knauss School of Business, where she is pursuing a bachelor’s in real estate and finance. Originally from Austin, TX, her passion for real estate led her to USD’s respectable real estate program. She is an active member of the Real Estate Society, Kappa Alpha Theta and serves on the executive board of the USD Women in Business Club. Jelanie has gained valuable industry experience through internships with Cascade Asset Management in Kirkland, WA, where she worked with the real estate investment team. During Summer 2025, she worked with Fairfield Residential in San Diego, a vertically integrated, privately held multifamily firm. Jelanie is excited to serve on the Real Estate Society’s Committee, where she looks forward to leading, inspiring and connecting with fellow real estate students.

Maritza Santoyo '26

Co-Vice President of Marketing

Maritza Santoyo ’26 is a senior at the University of San Diego’s Knauss School of Business, majoring in Finance and Real Estate. A first-generation Mexican-American from San Diego, she is passionate about creating inclusive spaces in the real estate industry through advocacy, community development, and education. During Summer 2025, she interned in Private Debt Origination at Principal Asset Management, where she deepened her understanding of real estate finance and investment strategy. Maritza is also involved in leadership and mentorship programs such as the Ferguson Centers for Leadership Excellence and SEO Career, which have strengthened her technical skills and professional development. She aspires to lead projects that enhance local economies, empower communities, and elevate underrepresented voices in the industry.

Ana Schramm '26

Vice President of Industry and Community Relations 

Ana is a senior at the University of San Diego Knauss School of Business where she is double majoring in real estate and business economics. Ana was born in Scottsdale, AZ and grew up with a parent in commercial real estate who introduced and gave her a passion for the industry. Ana has interned as an asset management intern with Westcore Properties (Summer 2024) and as a capital markets intern with Cushman & Wakefield (Summer 2025). At USD, Ana is an active member of the Real Estate Society and is vice president of panhellenic affairs for her sorority Gamma Phi Beta. She is outgoing and social which makes her excited for her role as vice president of industry and community relations of the USD Real Estate Society. Outside of school, she enjoys traveling, exercise and spending time with friends and family. 

Monet Castellino '26

Vice President of Research and Outcomes

Monet is a senior at the University of San Diego’s Knauss School of Business, double majoring in real estate and finance with a minor in entrepreneurship. Originally from Boulder, CO, Monet’s passion for real estate brought her to USD, where she has been an active member of the Real Estate Society since freshman year. She is excited to serve on the RES Committee for the 2025–2026 academic year. On campus, Monet also serves as vice president of Women in Business and chair of member engagement for Kappa Kappa Gamma. Monet held an internship with JLL’s Capital Markets team in Summer 2025. Her past experience includes interning at TopGun CRE and working on construction and property improvement projects. In her free time, Monet enjoys running on the beach, paddle boarding, reading, fitness and cooking.

JACQUELINE GREULICH '85

Advisor, Real Estate Society; Associate Director, Real Estate Student and Career Services

Jacqueline '85 is responsible for connecting undergraduate and graduate real estate students with professionals within the commercial and residential real estate industry. She oversees the coordination of student mentorships, internships and career placement initiatives. Greulich brings to the BMC more than 20 years of experience within the commercial real estate industry, including positions with Westcore Properties and Burnham Real Estate (now Cushman & Wakefield). She is an alumna of USD and Lead San Diego 2001. She is a recipient of the TWIN YWCA award and is a board member of Alpha Project and San Diego Center for Children.

JOHN DEMAS

Faculty Advisor, Real Estate Society; Professor of Practice in
Real Estate

Professor Demas currently teaches undergraduate real estate courses as well as a graduate Master of Science in Real Estate (MSRE) course.  He is passionate about using engaging stories to convey complex concepts with thought provoking “word picture” illustrations – building rapport, forging alliances, and blazing paths to the undiscovered, underappreciated, and undervalued. His strategic leadership approach mobilizes people and assets.  Professor Demas also serves as a strategic advisor, trustee and director of select privately held organizations.
