KAYSA LUNDBERG '23

President

Kaysa is a senior at the University of San Diego's Knauss School of Business. She is majoring in real estate and marketing. She was born and raised in Seattle, Washington, where she grew up watching her father become involved in the real estate industry. Kaysa plans to pursue a career in commercial real estate post-graduation and has been interning for a commercial real estate brokerage in Ocean Beach. Kaysa owns her own jewelry business and holds leadership positions in her business fraternity Delta Sigma Pi and her sorority Alpha Chi Omega.

JASON BRAULT '23

Co-VP of Finance

Jason is a senior at the University of San Diego's Knauss School of Business. He is majoring in real estate and finance, with a minor in entrepreneurship. Jason was born and raised in Southington, Connecticut, where he was drawn to real estate due to its opportunistic culture and competitive spirit. He is currently interning under the capital markets team at Berkshire, a multi-family investment company based out of Boston. During his time at Berkshire, Jason has performed industry research to gain competitive intelligence as well as assist the team in their CRM and outreach processes. Previously, he served as CFO for USD's Student Finance Association and as the treasurer of his fraternity. In his senior year, Jason plans to earn his CA Real Estate Salesperson License and intern for a local real estate firm.

BAYLOR BRIMMER '23

Co-VP of Finance

Baylor is a senior at the University of San Diego’s Knauss School of Business double majoring in real estate and finance. He is a native San Diegan and grew up in Encinitas. Baylor was initially exposed to real estate at a young age through his father, an architect in North County. Baylor is passionate about real estate because of its reliance on relationship-building and negotiation. He worked for Inland Pacific for over a year and earned his California Real Estate Salesperson’s License in 2021. Baylor would like to specialize in capital markets and investment sales. He plans to reside in San Diego after graduation and build his career in commercial real estate. Baylor is an active member of his fraternity Phi Gamma Delta (FIJI) and enjoys spending his time at the beach, hunting, fishing, playing basketball and cooking.

AYUSH AMBROSE '23

Co-VP of Industry Relations

Ayush is a senior at the University of San Diego's Knauss School of Business majoring in real estate and finance. He was born and raised in Portland, Oregon. His interest in real estate stems from seeing his father work on architectural designs for properties. Ayush is eager and passionate about learning more about property management and real estate investing. In Spring 2022, he studied abroad and completed an internship for a data startup in Madrid, Spain. Aside from being Co-VP of Industry Relations, for RES, Ayush also holds an executive position in USD's Entrepreneurship Club. He plans to obtain the California Real Estate license in Fall 2022. His interests include the stock market, reading, running and spending time with his family and friends. 

CARLY ROSS '23

Co-VP of Industry Relations

Carly is a senior at the University of San Diego's Knauss School of Business majoring in real estate and business administration. She was born and raised in the Bay Area and grew up in Alamo, California. Carly started out on the pre-med track at USD and pivoted to real estate in her sophomore year after attending numerous Burnham-Moores Center for Real Estate's events during Covid-19 quarantine. She actively engages in the real estate community. She is a member of CREW San Diego and sits on CREW's Emerging Leaders committee. Additionally, Carly is a member of NAIOP and is a participant in its Developing Leaders program. Upon returning from study abroad in Rome during Fall 2021, Carly passed the CA Real Estate Salesperson license exam. In addition to her position as co-vp of industry relations for the Real Estate Society, Carly is also a member of her sorority, Pi Beta Phi. She enjoys traveling, taking golf lessons at Riverwalk Golf Club and surfing with friends in Pacific Beach. Upon graduation in May 2023, Carly plans to join a firm as a full-time commercial real estate broker in San Diego.

TYLER RICH '23

Co-VP of Industry Relations

Tyler is a senior at the University of San Diego's Knauss School of Business. He is pursuing a degree in real estate and finance. Tyler was born and raised in Los Alamitos, California. His passion for real estate began in high school while watching the process of a ground-up multifamily development right down the street from his home. That interest led Tyler to create a relationship with that very developer, Hutton Companies. Tyler has worked as a real estate development intern with a focus in acquisitions for Hutton during the summers of 2021 and 2022. He values the relationships he has built so far and looks forward to continuously creating new ones. After graduation, Tyler aims to continue his path to a career in real estate development. Outside of the Real Estate Society, Tyler enjoys surfing, spending quality time outdoors and playing guitar.

AARON GLASPELL '24

VP of Events

Aaron is a Navy Veteran who served as a rescue swimmer, door gunner and instructor flying in the MH-60 Seahawk Helicopter. During his Navy career, he worked in support of special operations over multiple deployments to the Middle East, provided hurricane relief efforts in the Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico and spent the last four years as an instructor in Coronado, CA. He transferred to the University of San Diego in the Spring 2022 as a junior. Aaron is majoring in real estate and finance. He is highly motivated to learn the art of real estate and apply his knowledge and leadership skills to the industry. Aaron recently obtained his California Real Estate Salesperson license and is excited to help people buy and sell property in the San Diego area. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, the outdoors, athletics and travel.

HOPE PICKLER '23

Co-VP of Marketing

Hope is a senior at the University of San Diego's Knauss School of Business and is majoring in real estate. Her love for real estate began when she was young—her next-door neighbor owned a brokerage in her hometown of Villa Park. Hope is passionate about commercial real estate because it focuses on building relationships and is constantly evolving. In 2022, Hope began an internship at Inland Pacific and continues to work there. She received the California Real Estate Salesperson’s license in Summer 2022. Hope serves as Co-VP of Marketing in USD’s Real Estate Society and is an executive board member in USD’s Alpha Chi Omega sorority. She grew up in Orange County, CA and enjoys spending time with friends and family, going to the beach, watching and playing sports, snowboarding, traveling and cooking.   

MIA SOTO '24

Co-VP of Marketing

Mia is a junior at the University of San Diego’s Knauss School of Business majoring in real estate and minoring in leadership studies and management. Born and raised in San Diego, Mia has fallen in love with the world of real estate and ambitiously plans to pursue a career in commercial real estate development and construction. Over the past few years, Mia has become involved with real estate by serving as a marketing/social media manager for multiple real estate companies. In addition to her position as co-vp of marketing for the Real Estate Society, Mia serves as the director of leadership in her sorority Pi Beta Phi, is director of marketing of the Student Alumni Association, and is director of recruitment in her business fraternity, Phi Chi Theta. Outside of USD, Mia enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, hiking and watching motorsports.

KATIE CAGGIANO '23

VP of Research and Outcomes

Katie is a senior at the University of San Diego's Knauss School of Business. She is studying real estate, business administration and political science. Over the last eight months, she has interned at the San Diego Community Housing Corporation, a property development company for affordable housing. Katie hopes to work in commercial real estate upon graduating from USD in May 2023.

MAGGIE BRADY '23

VP of Professional Organizations

Maggie is a senior at the University of San Diego’s Knauss School of Business. She is majoring in real estate and finance. Maggie was raised in San Diego and attended the Academy of Our Lady of Peace before attending USD. Her first exposure to real estate was through her parents, who are active brokers and loan originators in California and Florida. Maggie currently interns with Cushman & Wakefield’s Land Advisory Group. In this role, she has gained valuable experience in market analysis, database management and broker-client relations under a team that leads over 100 land professionals. Maggie is passionate about developing more opportunities for women in commercial real estate and is on track to complete her California Salesperson License before graduating in May 2023. She also holds leadership positions in her sorority, Kappa Alpha Theta and her business fraternity, Delta Sigma Pi. Outside of USD, Maggie enjoys surfing and cheering on the San Diego Padres.

JACQUELINE GREULICH '85

Advisor, Real Estate Society; Associate Director, Real Estate Student and Career Services

Jacqueline Greulich '85 is responsible for connecting undergraduate and graduate real estate students with professionals within the commercial and residential real estate industry. She oversees the coordination of student mentorships, internships and career placement initiatives. Greulich brings to the BMC more than 20 years of experience within the commercial real estate industry, including positions with Westcore Properties and Burnham Real Estate (now Cushman & Wakefield). She is an alumna of USD and Lead San Diego 2001. She is a recipient of the TWIN YWCA award and is a board member of Alpha Project and San Diego Center for Children.

PROFESSOR JOHN DEMAS, ESQ.

Faculty Advisor, Real Estate Society; Clinical Professor of Real Estate

Professor John C. Demas, Esq.  contributes his diverse background in real estate, law, accounting and tax to the University of San Diego's Knauss School of Business' Real Estate Department. He teaches undergraduate and graduate real estate courses, and is engaged in the practice of law dealing primarily with estate planning and real estate issues. Demas is licensed before the U.S. Supreme Court, U.S. Tax Court, U.S. Court of Federal Claims, the Federal, 9th and 10th Federal Courts of Appeal and California, Colorado and Alaska state and federal district courts. Additionally, he is certified as LEED AP BD+C by the U.S. Green Building Council. Demas serves as strategic advisor, trustee and director of select privately held entities. His areas of expertise include: real estate law; tax and accounting; asset management; pedagogy; sustainability; and real estate family succession planning.
